Spring peepers are small frogs that emerge from mud in the spring. Recorded near a golf course, april 14 2020 around 8pm. Zoom h2n spatial mode, trimmed and amplified in audacity, dropped to 2-track for wav export. Sorry about the highway noise in the background.

I recorded the end of a rain storm with water running off of the house and multitudes and species of frogs in the background. I used my phone to record a mono track and then used audacity to simulate spatial stereo. It made the traffic in the distance sound like spirits moaning. I thought it was pretty cool. (-;.

Camera was just in front of cabin - filming for most of the time towards the bow. The sound was captured when the camera was turned to film the two boaters at the helm.

Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

The sound of thunder rumbling followed by rain. Additional sounds include: an air conditioning unit, wind, birds, a distant train horn, passing cars, the dinging of a flagpole (at 4:05), and cicadas (at 10:54). A rather lengthy sound byte that i heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. It sustains a flat note with varying bass levels causing an unnerving effect or the listener or player. I had designed this track for a roleplay plot involving a cursed train station, the plot came out kinda rough and it fell through midway. . . But, the audio track i made came out good enough to post here like my first sound involving my transformers oc!. From suspense to horror, or even background noise in a lighter field; it can be altered and edited as needed due to it's broad and simple design.
